Find time for a friend

Sitting in the basement looking at a huge pile of clothes. Thinking of the dishes on the counter, toys on the floor. Slowly starting to separate the clothes into their own piles - throwing, folding, setting aside for the kids to pick up and put away their clothes. Dark clouds outside. Having a hard time to motivate myself to do much. Call up a friend and go for a walk. For your friends who do not live in the same town. Call them up and sit and chat for a five minutes.Finding time for a friend will greatly improve your motivation and give you the little bump you need to finish your tasks. Stay positive

Taking Time off to enjoy the day

Being stuck in a hospital for any amount of time can really wear you down. You deal with sickness and monitors beeping. Your inside in a stuffy, crowded room that can sometimes make you feel like you have claustrophobia. Take sometime off and enjoy the day. If you are in the hospital give yourself a moment to go outside and take 5 minutes breathing in the fresh air. Doesn't matter if it is raining, cold or sunny and bright it will rejuvenate your body. You need to prepare your body to help those that you are helping. It will change how you feel. Then use that to bring in sunshine and happy times to the person who can't leave their room. Taking time to decompress and enjoy those few minutes will do you and the other good. Stay strong
